UsThe North County Family Violence Prevention
Center (NCFVPC) is a multi-agency, multi-service facility that is centralizing, coordinating and consolidating services across
systems, sectors, and agencies. We assist all of North San Diego County, from the coasts of Oceanside and Encinitas to the
desert of Borrego Springs and the lands on Native American Reservations. Our Partnership includes the San
Diego District Attorney, San Diego Sheriff’s Department Domestic Violence Unit (SDSD), Indian Health Council, Inc (IHC),
the Women’s Resource Center (WRC), and the Center For Community Solutions (CCS). Collaborative
partners work together to educate the community and to plan and provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive services to individuals

Our Goals
Implement
mandatory arrest or pro-arrest programs and policies in police departments including mandatory arrest programs and policies
for protection order violations.Strengthen
legal advocacy service programs for victims of domestic violence and dating violence, including strengthening assistance to
victims in immigration matters.Demonstrate
a commitment to strong enforcement of laws and prosecution of cases involving domestic violence, including the enforcement
of protection orders from other states and jurisdictionsHave established cooperative agreements or demonstrate effective ongoing collaborative arrangements
with neighboring jurisdictions to facilitate the enforcement of protection orders from other states and jurisdictions.

Volunteer Advocate - Volunteer advocates must be dedicated and reliable.
They will be responsible for crisis intervention, court accompaniment, and case management. Volunteers
will support, assist, and/or refer the client/victim in obtaining needed resources and/or services including employment, housing,
shelter, health care, victim compensation, etc… All volunteer advocates must have the state required 56
hour DV training, and will be supervised by the center coordinator.
