Donations

We accept money, food,  and clothing donations.  Please see our wish list for exact items.

 

Money donations – cash, check, or money order made out to the North County Family Violence Prevention Center Fund

 

Food – non-perishable foods (canned or boxed), gift certificates to grocery stores or fast food restaurants.

 

Clothing – We keep clothing for emergency needs, we are not able to accept large quantities of clothing.

 

Please call before dropping off clothes.  We may be unable to accept them.

 

Volunteer

If you would like to help out at our center please contact us.

 

Volunteer Advocate - Volunteer advocates must be dedicated and reliable.   They will be responsible for crisis intervention, court accompaniment, and case management.  Volunteers will support, assist, and/or refer the client/victim in obtaining needed resources and/or services including employment, housing, shelter, health care, victim compensation, etc…  All volunteer advocates must have the state required 40 hour DV training, and will be supervised by the center coordinator.

*      Baby supplies - diapers, bottles, formula, etc…

*      Food - Boxed macaroni and cheese, Top Ramen, Peanut butter and jelly, Crackers, Granola type bars, Rice, etc…
